    The "Stefan cel Mare" University, Food Engineering Faculty, proudly announces the 8th Edition of the International Conference BIOTECHNOLOGIES, PRESENT AND PERSPECTIVES, which is to be held on 5th of November 2021, ONLINE. The conference is open to experts, researchers, staff and enthusiasts in the Food, Agri and Biotech fields. The aim of the event is to allow the dissemination of the latest findings in the field and to facilitate idea transfer and collaboration between participants.

    The official language of the conference is Romanian/English.

    Conference sections

    The main sections are:

    1. Biotechnologies in Food Industry

    2. Applied Engineering Sciences

    3. Food Products Quality and Safety

    4. Equipment for Food Industry

    5. Ecology and Environment Protection

    6. Multidisciplinary Science

    The selected papers will be published, after scientific committee selection, in upcoming issues of Food and Environment Safety journal (ISSN 2068 – 6609) and in a Special Issue of Applied Sciences, an ISI Web of Science/Clarivate Analytics Journal quoted in Q2 quartile (Engineering multidisciplinary – Science and Physics). For the article accepted for publishing into Applied Sciences Special Issue will be pay a fee according to the journal policy.

    October 1st 2021 - Registration of participants and uploading of abstracts

    October 20th 2021 - Notifications of acceptance for conference

    Please use the template for paper formatting. You can use the registration page once you are ready to submit your participation.

  • Fees

    Participation fee is 350 RON (70 euros). 50 RON/paper will be paid for additional papers.
    For PhD Students there is a reduced fee of 150 RON (35 euros).

    The fee payment will be made when the acceptance to the conference is received by the authors (up to 20th October 2021), at Banca TRANSILVANIA, Suceava, account of Alimentarius Association
